What is recorded?

Because the lite edition of SC-KeyLog is free and widely used, it may be detected by your virus scanner as a keylogger or a trojan. Consider the PRO version if you are looking for an undetectable keylogger.

Features

Activity recording - SC-KeyLog records the keystrokes of all users that log on to the computer, including special characters and control keys, window captions and date/time. The logfiles include process execution, mouse clicks and system events.

Password capturing - The free edition of SC-KeyLog captures passwords entered with the keyboard and Windows 95/98/ME system logon passwords. To capture all passwords used on a computer, use SC-KeyLog PRO.

Logfile viewing - SC-KeyLog Free logfiles are text-based. They can be opened with any text-editor.

Remote deployment - In SC-KeyLog Free, remote deployment is partially supported. Small installer modules can be created to automatically and silently install the keylogger on remote systems. However, automatic delivery of logfiles by e-mail is not supported. The logfile has to be transferred manually from the remote computer. An optional, custom installation message can be displayed to the user.
