Because I do not have the time to update the content management system and plug-ins for this site, I have decided to move the site to a Google free web site. You can find the site at... http://sites.google.com/site/infosecproject/. Thesecurityguide.com will not be continued after April 10th 2009. The infosecproject site is online now and contains the same content. The site is partially complete and I will be adding more links and documents to the new site. I have been behind schedule getting my downloads section populated with free tools for security professionals. I have made some progress this holiday and have added the following files to the download section:
Forensics Folder - Forensics Equipment Diagram
Misc Database Folder - Server Tracking Database
Investigation Folder - Case Log (Excel) and Investigation Report Form (Word)

I ran across a great tool by MikroTik which will map your network and then provide service level monitoring and alerts all for free. Check this out in the "Free Security Tools" > "Network Tools" section.
